I’m back, Finally, Can’t believe its October already. It’s nearly Christmas!
Here is my September favourites… yes I know its late but I haven’t had time to type it up with college and work taking up my entire free time.
Recently, after months of wanting one, I finally splurged on a kindle!, I have a great passion for reading and when I have a spare hour or so, reading is what I do. Reading I would say is one of my hobbies and buying a kindle is definitely one of the best decisions I have made. It is so convenient to take around with me in my college bag and is so much more lightweight. It also saves up a lot of space. If your into reading then its definitely worth the money!
One perfect Summer
One perfect summer is a book by Paige Toon. As you can probably tell if you have read my previous favourites. Paige Toon is one of my favourite authors and her books are just great. One perfect summer is about a girl named Alice who goes on holiday to Dorset with her family for 6 weeks, She falls in love with Joe who works in his families pub near by. The 6 weeks go by incredibly fast and she just can’t get enough of Joe. Unfortunately Joe’s parents aren’t the nicest of people and treat him terribly. His brother returns from Jail and suddenly everything just gets a whole lot worse. Alice tries to persuade her parents to take Joe to London with the but as she goes upstairs to pack, alice’ dad tells Joe to run. Years go by and Alice is living in Cambridge with her husband Lukas and Joe is a Hollywood star, will they cross paths again? I loved this book so much and couldn’t put it down, Paige Toon is an amazing author and I cant get enough of her books. I definitely recommend this book.
Soap and Glory Super-cat Eyeliner
This eyeliner is one of my favourites every. I have tried so many eyeliners in the past and nothing compares to this. It is so black and super easy to apply. The nib is perfect for an ‘on fleek’ cat wing. The packaging of the product is beautiful and I would 100% recommend this eyeliner to every girl who struggles with eyeliner or is looking for a new one.
I recently watched a film called Kidnap on Netflix. The film is about a woman named Karla who takes her son Frankie to the park and leaves to take a phone call. When she returns he is nowhere to be seen. She turns round and see’s a woman dragging him into a car. She follows the kidnappers around for hours but they have disguises and numerous cars making the following pretty hard. She finally finds out the kidnappers address and goes there to find her son. However when she gets there, she finds her son and two other girls hiding in the shed. It turns out that the kidnappers have kidnapped hundreds of children for years. The Kidnappers returns just as Karla and Frankie try to escape so they hide in the water nearby. The woman appears and Karla pulls her into the water and drowns her. The police have been phoned and come to the rescue. This film was intense with so may twists and turns. It puts you on the edge of your seat. Definitely a recommendation.
That’s all folks.
