Hey everyone! Sorry I’ve been away for a while but I’m back!, in honour of world book day I’ve decided that I’ll do a book favourites, I’m a huge reader and I tend to read a-lot, so here we go!
Starting at number 4 is Wonder by R.J Palacio, this book is all about a little boy named August(auggie) who was born with a face different to the average person, the book talks about how Auggie deals with school and all the challenges that face him, starting from a shy little boy and how his confidence changes throughout the book, I really love this book because it shows that even if you are different from others it proves that you are unique in you’re very own way and even though people judge you it’s okay to be different.
My 3rd favourite book is The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins!, this was an amazing book and I really enjoyed it, for those of you who haven’t read it I would 100% recommend you to read it!. The book explains all about that even if everything you see seems alright, you never know what’s going on in the inside, everything isn’t always as it seems.
2nd of all is The One we fell in love with by Paige Toon, this book was one of the best books I have ever read and I’m so glad I decided to read it, it focuses on a set of triplets named Phoebe who loves to mountain climb and loves the French alps, Eliza who has dreams of being a musician and Rose who doesn’t have a job and is forced to move back with her mother, the one thing they all have in common is Angus.. the one they fell in love with! I would totally recommend this book to absolutely anyone as i think it is amazing!
Last of all is Frozen Charlotte by Alex Bell, this book was a horror book it is based on a school called Dunvegan School which was closed down because of numerous girls dying within the school, it was then converted into a house, but a collection of Frozen Charlotte dolls were left behind! Sophie arrives at the house in which her family live to spend the summer there, her cousin lilias who has a fear of bones, her cousin Cameron who has a scarred hand and Piper who seems to nice to be true!, Then there is Rebecca who died but still haunts the house, the one who collected the dolls, little did they know.. the dolls are haunted. I was soo engrossed in this book and couldn’t stop reading! 1000% recommend!
I hope this helped with recommendations if you guys were looking for something new to read, I recommend every single one of these books and I hope you liked this post
Thank you for reading!
See ya later Skye x
